BABY M

Precious Baby M surprised us by deciding to make his entrance into the world WAY early....10 weeks early to be exact. (His dad had left on a business trip that morning and caught the first flight back when he found out his wife was in labor.) He only weighed 3 and a half pounds when he was born and was immediately sent to the NICU, where he spent the next 6 weeks. His mom is one of my dear, dear friends and I've gotten to document the first few weeks of his life in pictures. I was going to just post a couple of the ones I took in the hospital the day he was getting to go home, but thought it would be neat to post several from the day he was born to when he got to go home. We are doing an "official" photo shoot tomorrow. It will be extra special to get to do a session with this precious NICU Graduate. :-)

They let Baby M's mom see him in the isolate for a few seconds before the whisked him off to the NICU. It made me so sad for her...

This was the very first time Baby M's older brother and sister got to see him. I love their expressions!

Big sis kept saying, "Can I pet him? PLEASE??? Can I pet him?"

Mom & Dad and TINY Baby MSix weeks to the day he was born = GOING HOME DAY!!!
